How We Build Peace Corps Champions.
Global Peace PAC is the political voice for Americans who care about a strong and vibrant Peace Corps. Global Peace PAC will change the political calculus around federal policy on the Peace Corps. We will do this by engaging directly in electoral politics on behalf of Candidates and Members of Congress who support the Peace Corps and against those who don’t.
As Americans who believe in actively promoting peacebuilding abroad, we believe that it’s our duty to fight to keep the lights on for a strong Peace Corps as the core part of this vision. If there is no Peace Corps, there is no future for America’s role in global peacebuilding. This task now is more urgent than ever. To succeed, we must engage in the political process.
Global Peace PAC will therefore conduct this work through two types of political activities. We are a federally registered non-partisan Hybrid PAC with two individual political arms: (1) a Political Action Committee and (2) an Independent Expenditures entity. We will use these entities to engage in the political process on behalf of a strong and vibrant Peace Corps.
